On Saturday 23rd November 2019, we were honoured to attend the prestigious IAAFA Charity Ball & Aesthetics Awards. The IAAFA stands for the International Academy of Advanced Facial Aesthetics, and seeks to recognise and reward colleagues across a broad spectrum of aesthetics sectors.

Hosted at the De Vere Beaumont Estate, a palatial Georgian mansion in the heart of Windsor, the ceremony saw our director, Dr. Ranjeet Rai, scooping the Best Newcomer Award and being highly commended for his Best Mid-Face Rejuvenation Award entry – 2 of  7 possible awards. Mid-face rejuvenation is an industry term for a cheek lift, which addresses the sagging of the cheeks and surrounding area that’s associated with ageing.

Dr. Rai has over 15 years’ experience both in hospital settings and in General Practice, giving him a wealth of knowledge and a broad skillset when it comes to cosmetics treatments. He’s passionate about achieving amazing results without compromise, with his global client base a testament to his expertise.

The IAAFA Charity Ball & Aesthetics Award evening is held annually, and alongside celebrating the industry and its hard-working and talented professionals, it also aims to raise money for children’s charities. This year saw an impressive £22,000 raised for children’s charity Make-A-Wish UK, with total funds raised for children’s charities now topping £245,000. Highlights of the ball include star performances, auctions and even a casino.

Please join us in celebrating this immense achievement and don’t hesitate to book in for your consultation today at our skin clinic in Maidenhead. As an aesthetic clinic, we are tremendously proud to have been recognised for our work in this field, particularly as our repertoire covers both cosmetics and healthcare, with treatments as varied as non-surgical facelifts and lip fillers, to PRP for arthritis and botox for migraines.
