This common condition (known in medical terms as a nasal dorsal hump) consists of a visible or noticeable bump towards the upper part or bridge of the nose. This can be related to previous trauma or can be inherited (the latter normally consisting of more cartilage rather than bone). This bump can sometimes draw attention away from other parts of the face or can be undesirably prominent from certain angles. This condition can occur at any age and can be seen in both men and women. Whilst formal surgical rhinoplasty can sometimes be used to provide good results, many clients understandably prefer to avoid the risks and costs of permanent surgery. We can use long lasting fillers to improve the look of this condition resulting in a smoother profile to your nose. This treatment can also be used to change the appearance of the width of your nose and to move the tip of the nose up or down thereby changing your profile to one that suits you better.
