What to expect
Small quantities of Azzalure® are injected into selected facial and head/neck muscles with a very small fine needle. This relaxes the muscles, thereby reducing the tension which is triggering headaches and migraines.There will also be beneficial cosmetic effects (e.g. reduction of wrinkles in the forehead) as our injection techniques target some of the facial muscles.
Aftercare
We review our aesthetics clients after 3 weeks to ensure they are completely happy with the results. The treatment usually takes around 2-3 weeks to have its maximal effect and lasts approximately 3-4 months although some clients report longer periods of headache free period.

Is this treatment suitable for me?
This treatment is suitable for anyone with frequent headaches both migraines and tension. We normally treat patients who have a history of headaches that are affecting them for many days per month. Chronic migraines are defined as a headache 15 days of the month with over half having migrainous features.
