We can all develop skin lesions that may not look nice or that may be causing discomfort. Examples of these types of skin lesion include Warts, Verrucas, Skin tags, Seborrheic keratoses and Actinic Keratoses. These are examples of non-cancerous or “benign” skin lesions. Having these removed surgically is an option but this generally incurs a much higher cost and takes longer to heal. At NU U we use cryotherapy to freeze these skin growths. This is a quick, safe, highly reliable and cost effective method of clearing skin lesions that Doctors have been using for many years. Cryotherapy does not tend to scar like surgery does and is over within a few seconds. It is suitable on many areas of the body and face and has no down time. If you are not sure what a lesion is or if it can be treated in this way our Doctors are happy to consult you and examine the lesion to advise you on your options.
