Eye bags can be seen as swelling, puffiness, hollows, darkness and drooping of the skin under the margin of the eye. As we age, the gradual loss of collagen, fat tissue and changes in musculature around the eye can make this process more visible. Eye bags often present as dark circles and can often give the continuous appearance of looking tired or sad. People often refer to these prominent areas under the eyes as “tear troughs”. Under eye bags and dark circles also potentially accelerated by smoking, alcohol consumption, and lack of sleep. Eye bags and tear troughs are particularly unwelcome as the eyes serve as a focal point when we are interacting or talking to other people. At NU-U Clinics in Maidenhead we are experienced in using cannula techniques to inject dermal fillers, also known as tear trough fillers, to give an effective, safe and instant improvement to your eye bags.
